Lisa Whiting

Lisa Whiting is a policy professional and writer specialising in social inequalities. She received her MSc in Government, Policy and Politics from Birkbeck University following her BA in Philosophy from Durham University. She has worked for government agencies in biomedical ethics and AI ethics, and is currently a policy advisor for the UK Government on housing.

Lisa is currently at work on a new edition of her 2020 book titled The Philosopher Queens: The Lives and Legacies of Philosophy's Unsung Women, co-edited with Rebecca Buxton, to be published in 2027 by Hackett (World English).
