Will Arnold is an award-winning engineer and environmentalist, a visiting professor at the University of Bath and head of sustainable materials at the Useful Simple Trust, a group of pioneering designers and consultants regenerating the built and natural environment. Over the course of his career, he has travelled the world, engineering high-profile buildings across four continents and pushing the boundaries of design and technology. Today he is best known for advising designers, academics, global institutions and policymakers – challenging them to confront the construction industry’s environmental impact – and for his passionate, optimistic public communication on one of the greatest challenges of our time: planetary care through sustainable construction.
