Valery Hazanov
Valery Hazanov was born in Moscow in 1982 and raised in Israel. He received his PhD in clinical psychology at Columbia University and trained at Columbia University Medical Center, Weill Cornell Medical College and St Luke’s Hospital. He is a former fellow of the American Psychoanalytic Association and the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. He writes about psychotherapy and his work has appeared in professional and mainstream publications. He lives in Jerusalem and works at Abarbanel Mental Health Center and in private practice.
