Sarah Dry

Sarah Dry is a writer and historian of science. She studied at Harvard University, Imperial College London and the University of Cambridge, where she was a Gates Scholar.  She has held research fellowships at the Centre for Analysis of Risk and Regulation at the London School of Economics and the Institute for Development Studies at the University of Sussex. In 2015–2016, she was awarded one of 36 inaugural Public Scholar grants from the US National Endowment for the Humanities. She is the author of Curie: A Life and The Newton Papers: The Strange and True Odyssey of Isaac Newton’s Manuscripts. She is a Trustee of the Science Museum Group where she serves on the Collections and Research Committee and the Advisory Board for the National Science and Media Museum. Her research interests include the history of climate and meteorology, global health policy and the public representation of science and scientists.
